New patients

Your first visit

A first visit takes about an hour. A walk-in for a problem is shorter and starts with the problem.

  1. 01

Step 1: Call or request a visit

Tell us when you'd like to come, or ask whether to walk in today.

  2. 02

Step 2: Fill in your forms

Your health history goes on our private patient portal, not in an email or on the contact form.

  3. 03

Step 3: Bring your card and an ID

Bring your insurance card if you have one and a photo ID. A list of your medicines helps too.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Meet the dentist

A talk about what's bothering you, an exam, X-rays only if they're needed, and a written plan and estimate.

Fill in your new-patient forms

Complete your health history before you arrive. The forms open in the practice's own secure portal.

Questions from new patients

Do you take my insurance?

We're in network with many PPO plans and out of network with the rest. The How fees work page explains each case. Call with your card and we'll check what your plan says before treatment.

What if I don't have insurance?

You pay at the visit, and you'll have the fee in writing before we start. Ask for a written estimate when you schedule or when you walk in.

Can I get a written estimate before treatment?

Yes. You get one before any treatment, including after a walk-in exam. It lists each step and its fee.

Do you see children?

We see children and teens for routine care and for problems that need a visit. If your child needs a dentist who treats only children, we'll tell you and point you to one.

Ready to come in?

Call and we'll find a time, or tell you how the day looks for a walk-in.
